Buckwheat

Buckwheat is a fast growing cover crop, recommended for preventing weeds between spring and fall plantings. In ideal conditions, flowers appear 4-6 weeks after planting. Flowers are a good source of pollen and help attract beneficial insects. Will spread heavily if not properly maintained, remove within 7-10 days of flowering to prevent spreading by seed. 1kg covers approx. 1000 sq.ft.
