Biobest Bee Pollen

Pollen is an essential food source for bumblebees. It is primarily used to nourish the colony, especially when the hive needs to be temporarily closed - for example, in cases of over-pollination.

Once the hive is closed, it is recommended to provide approximately ½ teaspoon of pollen every two days. Adjust the quantity and frequency based on your observations: you may offer more, and more often, particularly in cases of over-pollination or if the bumblebees display aggressive behavior.

Application Method:
Simply sprinkle the pollen onto the hive’s mesh. The bumblebees will collect it themselves through the mesh.

Note:
Be careful not to overfeed, as this can make the bumblebees less active and reduce their motivation to forage and pollinate your flowers. Since every situation is different, it is essential to closely observe your colony’s behavior in order to effectively manage the hive and optimize pollination.

Pollen can be stored in the freezer for the entire season.
